And that makes them much more tolerable and significantly reduces the potential for health hazards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Breakthrough in tabs for loose-leaf binders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Of course, HUEHOCO also likes to work with water-based paints. The problem: Until now, these coatings could only be used in the field of wall paints. But now SI-Coatings, a HUEHOCO Group company, has achieved a breakthrough. Water-based coatings were developed there that can also be used without problems in the coil coating process.<br\/>As a final test, the new varnishes were used for flaps in the fast binder. The result was clear: the water-based coatings have no negative impact on the quality of the lugs.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><strong>Environmentally friendly advantages<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The use of water-based coatings not only has positive effects on quality, but also on the environment. Among other things,<sub>CO2 emissions<\/sub> were significantly reduced from 8.3 kg per metric ton to 5.1 kg per metric ton.
